
About Tracy
Tracy Marra is a State Representative proudly serving Darien and Norwalk.

First elected to give local communities a stronger voice in Hartford, Tracy has built a reputation as an independent, results-driven leader who puts people before politics.
​
With a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a professional background in healthcare, Tracy brings real-world expertise to the legislature — particularly on prescription drug affordability, public health, and patient protections. In recognition of that work, she was honored as a 2025 AARP Healthcare Champion for her leadership on healthcare access and affordability.
​
Her ability to dig into tough issues Tracy currently serves as Ranking Member of the Energy and Technology Committee, one of the legislature’s most impactful committees due to its direct effect on affordability in Connecticut. She was also appointed by the Democratic Speaker of the House to serve on the National Conference of State Legislatures Energy Supply Task Force, where she is working to strengthen energy affordability and reliability.

She also serves on the Public Health and Transportation Committees.

Tracy has been recognized nationally for her leadership, including being named a Woman of Excellence by the National Foundation for Women Legislators.

A mom of three and longtime Connecticut resident, Tracy understands the importance of prioritizing a strong economy and quality education. She remains committed to listening to her community and delivering practical, common-sense solutions for Connecticut families.
