Tracy Marra Announces her Candidacy for

State Representative in Norwalk and Darien

Launches Bid for 141st Connecticut House District

DARIEN, CT –Darien Resident and lifetime Republican Tracy Marra seeks the nomination to run for the 141st Connecticut House of Representatives District at the May 17th Republican Convention.

In a brief statement, Marra began, “Connecticut is a very special place to my family and me; it’s the place my husband and I call home and where we chose to raise our three children.” Marra continued, “For the past 13 years, our district has been fortunate to have such a strong advocate, Terrie Wood, in Hartford working on our behalf”. Marra says she intends to continue to bring that same passion to Hartford. She states, “Having been active in the community, I am uniquely positioned to strengthen our community and represent the voices of Rowayton and Darien.”

If nominated in May by her party and elected in November, Marra plans to focus on providing greater community safety, ensuring accountability and transparency in our educational system, and guiding our state toward greater affordability. While a resident of Darien, Marra is committed to ensuring all voices in her home district are heard in the Connecticut legislature.

“My priority will be to serve as a clear and competent voice in Hartford for our amazing community in Norwalk and Darien. Our state faces many challenges, and I intend to serve to find common ground that will benefit everyone in our state.”
